This project was not born of an existing, pressing need. Rather, it is born of a wish that the web were more like a conversation and less like a portal; and of a desire to speak as well as to be spoken to. In a nutshell, the goal of this project is to empower publishers, both large and (more importantly) small, to position content in a way that users can find. As with most other software projects (let's be honest), it is also born of a desire to stir things up.

This is ostensibly a technical article about a software project. If it reads like a narrative, though, then it is because I am an amateur. I will not attempt adopting a dry, technical voice. I am not good at that sort of thing. But I do have an idea to sell, a story to tell.
